MetaCTF platform
After my class for Network forensics and Incident Response I got a 12-month free access to MetaCTF platform
When I registered on the platform it had already 1.850 registered users. Usually, it starts with zero points and at place 1.850. After two weeks I am now at rank 362. It was interesting to solve challenges in multiple IT-Security areas. Some of them were very advanced to solve. A lot of problems are either configuration issue by admins or real attack technic which today hackers are using to steal data from us.
This CTF is really for everyone who run Incident Response or IT-Admin to go to the next level of learning about red and blue teaming.
For instance, you need to decode on a unique way PowerShell commands which hacker run during today’s campaign with obfuscate of the base64 code. Analyse and find the flag in APT Malware to get more information about the author and other information about the malware.
Now it is getting tougher to get points because each single challenge took more than 20 minutes to solve it and it require at least three different forensics tools.
